Stowarzyszenie Instytut Nowych Technologii or the Association Institute of New Technologies (INT), the Polish partner of mYouth, since 2004 has been working for the promotion, dissemination, and collection of best practices among entrepreneurs and non-governmental organizations in the use of new technologies and innovation. Some of INT key actions are: the organization of the Regional Competition Leader of New Technologies distinguishing innovative companies in the region of Lodz, numerous conferences, over 350 training, workshops, etc.
INT leads “NGO Support Centre” in the region and works with more than 100 NGOs. Currently, the INT was established Regional Centre for International Debates (a project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs). For several years, the INT is organizing a nationwide Olympics (for youth) of knowledge of the region and entrepreneurship. The activities of the INT are aimed at promoting new technologies, innovation and increasing opportunities for participants in the labor market education and equal opportunities.
The recipients of the projects are both disadvantageous, NGOs, volunteers, employees of companies, entrepreneurs as well as those who are just starting their career path. A large part of the activities is addressed to seniors and disadvantaged groups – due to disability, status socio-material etc. This is also a very important aspect for the INT as the organization encompasses employees with disabilities, and a few who are over 50 – they do conduct training courses for diverse groups of students with the will to mitigate barriers.
The goal for INT in the coming years is to enrich the educational offers and workshops (new thematic groups), use of new technologies and training techniques (methods of work with different people and in different ways – the use of distance learning), increase the effectiveness of training and adapting tools to the needs of diverse audiences (communication diversified socially and physically), use of e-learning as a new method of training and trainers and trainees.
INT employs over 10 persons who have university degrees and Ph.D., have experience in project implementation, conducting and organization of training. INT co-operates with more than 20 experienced trainers of diverse areas and mixed age. They put a stress on quality – have implemented the training and monitoring of effectiveness standards which allows the organization to offer high-quality educational events and services. The INT are accredited as a training center by Entrepreneurship Development Foundation and we are recognized as a training center by authorities (confirming documents).
INT has many years of experience in the organization of training courses, conferences, promotion and use of new technologies in education and entrepreneurship. INT has established close cooperation with companies, authorities, other NGOs in order to fulfill its statutory activities, education, promotion of entrepreneurship and strengthening the third sector. For diverse audiences, INT has offered training in the areas: entrepreneurship, personal skills, self-presentation, time management, ICT, volunteering, NGO activities, communication, health, promotion, marketing and more.
