A Unique Event Combining Knowledge, Innovation & Networking Took Place in Graz, Austria

The Winners Event (EYA Festival) is a unique event combining knowledge, innovation, networking, inspiration and motivation taking place annually in Graz in November. This year young people full of ideas gathered from November 30 till December 3, 2016 and got a chance to present their your projects in front of experts and high-level audience, receive a profound project analyzes and  by international and local students, learn from outstanding speakers, experienced entrepreneurs and opinion-leaders.

Marko Nikolov, one of the participants at the European Youth Summit Award in Graz, Austria tells us that “The most valuable experience was meeting amazing people and consulting with experts on how better manage my projects and sharpen my skills”.

The main objective of this pan-European contest is to motivate young people, social entrepreneurs and start-up founders to produce digital projects with impact on society. It demonstrates their potential to create innovative solutions with

The contest ins designed to demonstrate the potential of participants in creating innovative solutions with the Internet and Mobile technology addressing the goals defined by the Council of Europe and Europe 2020.

WHO COULD PARTICIPATE IN EYA 2016? Young people from 49 EUROPEAN COUNTRIES!

  • Creative minds under 33 (born after January 1, 1983), e.g. students, socially engaged digital talents or social entrepreneurs;
  • Living in one of the member states of the Council of Europe, Belarus or Kosovo (49 eligible countries);
  • Who have produced an outstanding, innovative digital project to improve society (e.g. website, app, wearable device, digital installation).

SPECIAL CATEGORY 2016: (Only) For the Special Category (migration | integration | inclusion | refugee movement) also entries from people living in one of the following states were accepted: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syrian Arab Republic and Tunisia.
